BAKTI DESA 2019

On Thursday 3 January 2019, we participated in one of the compulsory school activities namely "Bakti Desa". This activity lasted for 3 days, which took place in Desa Cibeureum Kec.Kertasari Bandung. In the morning we gathered in the corridors of SMAN 3 Bandung, then we left using public transportation with a capacity of around 15 people or half of the students in the class. During the trip we felt happy, the rural atmosphere and the cool weather welcomed our arrival at the location. When we arrived at Cibeureum Village Hall, we took a few photos to make the documentation as follows.



After we took pictures, we entered the village hall to follow the opening of the activity and lunch at the end of the event. Next we opened the hall to prepare for the location of the zone where our class was staying. We walked to the location, during the trip there were many incidents from our friends who experienced minor accidents. Not far from the village hall, we arrived in our class zone and were immediately sent by the homeroom teacher to each group to visit the homes of foster parents respectively. When we were at home, we were very fortunate to get foster parents from an Rt who also worked as planters, the name of our foster father, Father Yana. He has a wife and two girls. The condition of his house was very adequate even though the integrated kitchen and toilet were not our problem. 








After we rested, we followed our foster father to see the existing plantations, not only seeing we also visited one of the potato warehouses where there were so many planters who were processing the harvested potatoes. On the other hand, we help planters who are pulling weeds that grow on their plantations.

Because it was late afternoon, we decided to go back home and gather with friends to talk. In the afternoon we were invited by the village mothers to exercise on the volleyball court. After gymnastics, we will return home to clean ourselves, help foster mothers to cook, and Maghrib prayer at the mosque.

 After the prayer, we gathered in the Posko to collect the basic necessities we had brought from home to share equally for each bag.

After from the post we gathered in one of the houses where friends stayed to gather and tell stories. Then we returned home to take a break to return to freshness following the morning activities.

The second day very early in the morning we were advised by the homeroom to go to one of the places namely the Citarum River. This place presents a very beautiful view with an instagrammable photo spot, which is a very cute purple bridge. We were a little stray when traveling, but it didn't matter because we could get to that place.

After from that place, we help foster mothers cook for lunch. After lunch, we were told to gather on the road because it would be picked up to the village hall following counseling about agriculture from the city of Jakarta. The aara has several posts as below.



Next, we returned to the location to distribute basic necessities to others. Every house that is lacking we provide basic necessities according to their needs. On the other hand, because the village hamlet children challenged some of us for volleyball matches. Therefore some of us followed and cheered on the match.


At night after eating food, we just play at home with our foster parents' children, watch television, and pack so tomorrow is not in a hurry. Because we were tired, we decided to take a break.
On the last day, after we had breakfast we gathered at the post to go to one of the tourist attractions namely Situ Cisanti. This place has a very large lake, it is said that the lake irrigates many rivers. Looking at it, we took lots of photos because the place was very beautiful. You can see it from the photo below.


After that we returned to our homes for lunch. After lunch we went black to our foster parents. Of course it is hard to leave the village, there are a lot of experiences and knowledge you have gained during the activity. We left for Bandung again using public transportation.

On Friday, April 26, 2019 we participated in one of the school events organized by representative organizations. This event is followed by 3’20 & 3’21.
