Machu Picchu



       Machu Picchu is a Pre-Columbian Inca ruin site located in a mountainous region at an altitude of about 2,350 m above sea level. Machu Picchu is above the Urubamba valley in Peru, about 70 km northwest of Cusco. It is a syimbol of the most famous Inka Kingdom.
      


The kingdom of Inka is a kingdom situated in the present-day region of Peru from 1438 to 1533. Inka is called a "pre-Columbian civilization", meaning that it had existed prior to the arrival of Christopher Columbus.In that period, Inka controlled much of the western part of South America centered in the Andes Mountains until 1533, when the Spaniards invaded the land, Atahualpa who was the last king of Inka, also known as Sapa Inca, was killed by a Spanish explorer named Francisco Pizarro, who also marked the beginning of the Spanish rule in the area.
     


Built around the year 1450, but abandoned a hundred years later, when the Spaniards succeeded in conquering the Kingdom of Inka.This site was forgotten by the international community, but not the local community. The Monkey and the camel During the time of the animal kingdom, the animals used to have periodic gatherings where they would discuss important questions and elect their kings. Very often one or two animals would get in front of the crowd and provide some entertainment.
